The Picture of Dorian GrayIn this course, students will:

  • Analyze and discuss the complex themes, symbols, and motifs that define the Gothic genre, such as the supernatural, madness, and the duality of human nature.

  • Engage in collaborative group discussions and debates, fostering a deeper understanding of the texts and cultivating critical thinking skills.

  • Practice annotation techniques and write three to four-paragraph essays, enhancing their ability to communicate ideas and develop a strong writing style effectively.
